FOTODOK launches a new program for talent: the FOTODOK TALENT EMBASSY. Thanks to Pictoright Fund we will be able to take 10 emerging photographers to international photography festivals every year for the upcoming three years.
We provide an intensive program for these artists in preparation for the festivals so that they can travel with an up-to-date portfolio, a good pitch, filled with confidence. With the help of a team of international and external professionals, we work on the selection and presentation of their work and themselves. With the Talent Embassy we do internationally what we are already doing successfully in the Netherlands: making talents visible and connecting them to a relevant network.
For this first edition, the following artists have been selected: Ilias Bardaa, Julia Gat, Indra Gleizde, Yara Jimmink, Rick van der Klooster, Nastjassja Nefjodov, Louisiana van Onna, Michelle Piergoelam, Remco de Vries & Milah van Zuilen. Five of them will go to Rencontres d’Arles in France from July 2 till July 9. The other five photographers will go to Encontros da Imagem in Braga, Portugal in September.
